Good hotel.
Room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious. And location is good.
They gave me a no good room and could not get me a better. Thet have had my booking for weeks
First I staid about one week, booking ID 84352125. I had booked a double room even as a single traveler as I know that I will get a better room in many ways. I got a good room, a good double room.
When I checked in and when I left the hotel I told them about my new reservation, 84877958, arriving 29 of January till 4 of February and that I wanted a similar room. Not smaller etc!
When I arrived on the 29th they could only offer me a room, small double, small window and connected with another room by a simple door. Sort of twin-doubles! No difficulty hearing my neighbors talking all night. Two hours after I got my room two new guests checked in and got my "old room", the good one and when I asked in the reception I got the answer that they had checked in at eight in the morning. When did I made my reservation..?
Next day in the morning, they could not get me a better room. Wait, wait, we do not know yet....was the answers I got. Of course I did not want to ruin my holiday so I cancelled my room for the rest of my days and paid for one night.
As my computer did not work and I could not use the one in Colón Hotel so I called Agoda, talked to a very nice lady, explained my problem. I told her that I had to leave the hotel as they could not give me a good room and that I had to look for a new room. No doubt that guests who paied the normal price got better rooms and we, Agoda-costumer got the not so good. That is not nice.....
As I did not have a computer I could not use Agoda booking and had to go around and find one. More expensive of course as I could not use your services. Hope you do not charge me an extra fee as I have already paid more for the new hotel and also cost for taxi and telephone to Agoda. The "new" hotel, Hotel Republica, Plaza de la Republica was super! Hope you will take that to your offers! As I am a regular customer of Agoda I hope that you will not charge me any extra for this change in my booking. / Gunnar Arnoldsson
