Cheap rooms but no Style
i booked a room on agoda and got a price that was half of the
rack rate. the hotel is an older property that looks very datedd by us standards. the decor in the rooms looks like someting from the 70s with a floral bedspread, a red carpet and
an older tv.however, the bed and the pillows were comfortable,
the water pressure was great and the windows opened. my room
was quiet but did not face the main street.
the service was pretty good, but not much english was spoken.
the lobby had two free computers and the hotel is full servie
with bellmen etc.
the breakfast was a little below average, but there are plenty
of local options quite close.
if you can a good deal on agoda, it is not a bad choice in
centro, but the rack rate is too high for what you get.
Fresh Impressions from Dann Avenida 19
The hotel has a good quality to price ratio. It is clean, the staff seems friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is good. This is an important point since the neighbourhood does not inspire for walks late at night.
The by far most attractive quality about the hotel is its proximity to la Candellaria a very interesting place from a touristic point of view.
